Haunted Gingerbread House Competition

October's TAG meeting consisted of food and horror! Two teams competed against one another to make the best Haunted Gingerbread House. Given the same supplies the teams worked together to come up unique and horrifying works of art (that were very delicious). When time was up two library staff members judged the houses and a winner was declared! Next TAG meeting is Wednesday, November 23 from 2:30-3:30 pm. No need to register, just show up!

Make Your Own Pizzas

Today was a pizza party! We made regular mini-pizzas and sugar cookie dessert pizzas. The oddest ingredient-pretzels on normal pizza! Apparently, it tasted good.
Miss Jess and Miss Nicole wanted to thank everyone who have come to our events this summer. We had a great time, and we hope those who came did as well. We will be starting up TAG again in September, and we hope to see everyone who has come this summer as well as some faces.  Remember if you have any ideas about activities TAG could do or volunteer opportunities for us, please let us know.

Amazing Race

We had 4 teams follow the clues, complete the tasks, and finish the Amazing Race at the Library. And had a blast while doing it. Congratulations to Samantha and Aiden who finished first! Nicholas and Peter were a very close second. Thank you all for coming!
Please join us for our last TAG event of the summer next week Monday, July 25th, where we'll be making pizzas!

Terrarium

Today, we created our very own terrariums, the plants that are known not to die. However, those who came seemed already to be good gardeners. A reminder: lightly spray them with water about once a month and take off the cover if they seem to be getting moldy.
Please join us for our text teen event next week Wednesday, July 20th for Amazing Race at the library!

Galaxy Shirts

Today, we went to space. Okay, not really, but we made some far-out Galaxy Shirts. It was quite a blast (you see what I did there?) Excellent work, everyone! Yours all turned out great. Please join us in two weeks on July 11th to make terrariums. (Please forgive all the absolutely terrible puns.)

Life Sized Games

We had a blast at our first event of the summer! We almost stacked Jenga to the ceiling, Cole became all knotted with Extreme Twister, and Aiden and Lucas duked it out in Extreme Tic Tac Toe and Battleship.

Come join us for our next TAG meeting on June 27th at 2 where we'll be making Galaxy clothing! Don't forget to bring something that is black.
