Just a few of the nominees:

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith.
Teenage movie idol Graham Larkin accidentally emails a girl named Ellie, who lives in a small town.  They strike up a conversation, and continue emailing each other.  They don't, however, trade names.  Graham plans to make a movie in her town so he can continue the relationship.  Ellie, though, has a secret, and wants to keep her privacy.  There's a lot to like in this love story, which has very loveable characters.  And the author swears it's not about Justin Bieber.

Winger by Andrew Smith
Ryan is a 14 year-old junior, sent to a rich kid boarding school.  Sounds good? It would be except for the fact that they think he is a troublemaker (not really).  He is sent to the extra-security dorm, and has to deal with a rugby bully for a roommate.  Luckily, his charm wins over his adversaries, and he makes awesome doodles.  If only his charm could help him with Annie.

Dark Triumph by Robin LeFevers
In this sequel to Grave Mercy, there are dark forces at work.  Sybella has escaped a world she couldn't handle, sent from an abusive home to a convent that teaches fighting skills.  Now she works as Death's assassin, and actually has a decent relationship with a "beast".  This is a book you won't want to put down.

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
Gansey is rich, good-looking, and leads a charmed life.  But he's trying to find Glendower, a vanished Welsh king, so he can receive a promised wish.  Blue Sargent has become clairvoyant, like her mother, when Gansey tries to talk to her.  He is one of the Raven Boys, who go to the local private school.  She is haunted by a feeling that if she kisses him, he will die.
End Games by T. Michael Martin
If you are in the mood for a good zombie apocalypse book, this is it!  Michael has a 5 year-old autistic brother, and he wants to keep him safe.  That's a tall order considering that the world has been taken over by voracious zombies. To keep his brother calm, Michael turns it all into a game.  Each day Michael tells Patrick that he got instructions from the Game Master, and they move up in levels to meet mutants with greater powers.  Truly horrifying.
Orleans by Sherri L. Smith
A thrilling dystopian tale.  The entire Gulf Coast has been pounded with hurricanes and the terribly contagious Delta Fever.  All life has supposedly been made extinct.  However, an unknown new primitive society has been born.  Fen belongs to it.  She promised that she would take a baby out of the marked zone before the baby's blood is infected with the disease.  She meets a scientist from the outside who had snuck in illegally.  Is there any hope for a cure?
